After twelve years, the Czech military terminate their deployment in Kosovo

The last eighteen members of the 2nd ACR Task Force at KFOR who served from this June at the Sajkovac Base in northeastern part of Kosovo arrived in Prague - Kbely military airport on the 3rd November.

On the national holiday, 28 October, President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus attended the military oath ceremony held at the Prague Castle Square accompanied by Minister of Defence Alexandr Vondra, Chief of the General Staff General Vlastimil Picek and other official guests.
Soldiers monitor radiation at 17 stations daily

Monitoring the radiation level is a daily task of the 314th Weapons of Mass Destruction Warning Centre located at Hostivice-Brve west of Prague. Personnel of the Centre welcome delegation of Azerbaijan Armed Forces headed by Colonel Hijran Rustamzade.

New orders for Czech industry reaching 5.905 billion Czech Crowns brought an industrial cooperation programme. The agreement for its implementation was part of the contract for supply of wheeled armoured carriers Pandur for the Czech military.
The last 2nd OMLT operation in Afghanistan
