Europe 2006: Four Medals for Military Athletes

All four medals for the Czech Republic at the 19th European Athletics Championships 2006 in Göteborg, Sweden, were won by military athletes from DUKLA Army Sports Centre.

Czech pilots of L-159 ALCA aircraft, as the first team from east-European newcomers to NATO, participate in the prestigious Tactical Leadership Programme held at the Florennes Aviation Society, Florennes, Belgium.

BAHNA 2006 – Land Forces Day on Saturday 24 June 2006

Since 1990, the Land Forces Day "BAHNA" has become the greatest presentation of the service. It is held every year at the military training ground at Strašice. Its goal is to present up-to-date military equipment, and professional skills and readiness of Land Forces soldiers. Its roots are in meetings of historical military vehicles' owners.
