The commander of KAMBA arranged the evacuation of local employees with the Taliban

ʻIt was pure improvisation. No training can prepare you for such a situation’, says the member of the Military Police and commander of the KAMBA unit, regarding the evacuation of the employees of the Czech Embassy in Kabul and all Afghan colleagues from the list authorised by the Ministry of Defence. He negotiated their evacuation with the Taliban militants for six hours. During the four days, he only slept for 4 hours, almost no food and water. He and his men contributed greatly to the speed and success of the Czech evacuation.

A unique cyber security exercise for strategic companies of the defence industry

The Ministry of Defence and the National Cyber and Information Security Agency organised an exercise focused of cyber security for the member companies of the MoD Platform for the Cooperation of Strategic Companies of the Czech Defence Industry and the State. The participants from the ranks of management, employees of the companies, employees of both organising institutions and of the Ministry of Industry and Trade had to deal with cyber-attacks as well as other tasks related to cyber security, be it technical, legal, or media and tasks related to crisis management.
