Top European politicians meet in Prague to discuss the strengthening of joint defence strategies

High-level EU representatives, numerous foreign and defence ministers, diplomats, representatives of the defence industry, think-tanks and academics from across Europe met on Friday, June 9th at Zofin Palace, Prague, to begin discussions on how to further strengthen the joint European defence and security policy and the EU-NATO strategic partnership.

The one-day exercise ‘Water Crossing 2017’, held last week at Myslejovice water reservoir, was a demonstration of the skills of Czech military personnel in carrying out challenging tasks and negotiating obstacles in and around a river while operating their amphibious recovery and rescue vehicles.
Open Day in Caslav attracts thousands of military fans

Every two years, the 21st Tactical Air Force Base at Caslav holds an Open Day to present the air and ground equipment of the Czech Armed Forces, and this year it opened its gates again to the public on 20th May. This traditional air show of dynamic and static displays continues to attract thousands of military and aviation enthusiasts.
102nd Battalion take home invaluable experiences from international competition

Last week, the team from the 102nd Reconnaissance Battalion, based in Prostejov, returned home after taking part in the five-day prestigious 9th Annual Warrior Competition. The competition was held at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre in Amman, Jordan and came to an end on 4th May.
