Czech Active Reserve team presents its skills at exercise in the U.K.

A team of the Active Reserve from the Central Bohemian Region participated in international competition of military skills at the Royal Army training base at Altcar, close to Liverpool, organised by the United Kingdom Reserve Forces Association for NATO military reservists.

Joint training of Czech and Croatian helicopter personnel before ISAF deployment

In the spirit of the slogan “If to fight together, we must train together”, twelve Czech and Croatian soldiers of helicopter crews train at the Mosnov Helicopter Training Point before their deployment in Afghanistan. The very first joint training started this week at the simulator, while practical training will be held in Croatia.

Alexandr Vondra: both NATO and EU must remain strong

Czech Minister of Defence Alexandr Vondra and American diplomat Ron Asmus have received the Czech and Slovak Trans-Atlantic Award for their contribution to strenghtening transatlantic ties, peace, prosperity and stability within Euro-Atlantic area. The ceremony was held at the gala dinner of the Internatinal Security Conference GLOBSEC 2012 - Global Security Forum, held 12 - 14 April 2012 in Bratislava, Capital of the Slovak Republic.
